i'm a 17 yrs old girl going to London alone this summer, any suggestions? PLZ HELP?

hi i'm 17 and i'm going to london for the Central saint martins summer courses. for around a month.

i'm going alone and staying at one of the student halls- is this dangerous for a teen girl? and is it easy to make friends there? i would certainly like somebody to show me around and to hang with- it's my first time there.

so any suggestions? and how do teens dress there? are some tank tops that are 'too revealing' a no?

thanks for your help, i'm so nervous lol cuz its my first time traveling alone

You are staying in student halls so there will be others there and in the same situation as you are...and some may know London so don't worry in this situation you will bond and make friends with the others there.

I went to College in London and lived there when I was 16 after leaving school, had a great time...you will find people dress in all styles, it is London and metropolitan....most of the time you travel on the tube, however if it is your first time i suggest you catch the bus that way you will see more of the real London as well as all the touristy places.........enjoy!

I've been to London twice. I'm in my 20's and once went with just my 4 year old son. We had NO problems, people are very friendly! London is really easy to navigate. You could try googling teenage London fashions, but I would say they dress better then Americans. A little more on the fancy side...lots of skirts and tights. I would say they are more conservative. If you want to 'fit in' dressy classy and fashionable. If you're going to be staying in a student hall, won't you be able to make friends this way? I wouldn't say it's dangerous, just be smart about it.

the 1st answer is purely rubbish. it relatively is advantageous to be with the aid of your self in London, it relatively is purely like all important city, you have purely gotta word and dodge places that seem slightly dodgy. i'm from London and you will have no concern looking a valid taxi. And it relatively is an extremely distinctive place, lots of diverse varieties of vogue and such.
