When to start Stage 2 formula?

I am currently feeding my son Enfamil A+ and I keep seeing coupons and in the store the next stage which is Enfapro...On the can it says to feed Enfapro at 6 - 18mths but the Enfamil A+ says 0-12 mths. Should I be using both? Just one? Weaning? When? Ah!

Thanks

Stage two formulas have fewer calories and slightly more vitamins...they are intended to supplament a baby who is MOSTLY on solids. I just had this explained to my by my son's pediatrician at his 9 month check up. He made it seem like I should put my son on stage two when he is eating several solid meals a day.
