Weird dream with different birds?
SO i was in my backyard and a crow came straight for me. I couldn't outrun it and it came straight for my face...luckily i caught it but it continued to try to harm me until I whipped it over the fence...
Then, I went to walk back inside my house and a dead sparrow was laying on the doormat?
Is this a horrible omen?!
3 AnswersDream Interpretation9 years agohelp with my 10 month old who has a fever! 10 PTS best answer!?
so yesterday when my son woke up he had a high fever (39.3) and he wasn't keeping his food down. I took him immediately to the urgent care clinic where they gave him pedialyte and checked him out. He was super tired (he didn't get much sleep the night before there was a HUGE storm) so he kept napping throughout our 5 hours there and such. They sent us over to the hospital to see the on-call pediatrician because the doctor at the clinic wasn't 100% in sending him home just in case. At the hospital they did blood work and an X-ray which all came back normal. He still had a fever but they told us to go home. All day today he has had a fever around 38.8 and I'm starting to worry. He is teething right now. Should I just keep giving him tylenol every 4 hours? He's keeping his food down today so I know he is feeling a little better but are there any other things I can do to get his fever down?
Thanks in advance!
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoMY 7 MONTH OLD WON'T STAY AWAKE DURING THE DAY?
Hi,
My son just turned 7 months today and I am having trouble with his sleep and feeding schedules.
Lately, I have been trying to write everything down to keep track and I got the book "Healthy sleep habits, healthy child"..
He still has to have 3 naps a day though because I cannot keep him awake past 2 hours! He just starts getting super fussy! He isn't sleeping through the night and wakes up at least 2 times possibly 3. The last time he slept through the night was about the middle of april. I don't know what I did wrong in there but he wakes up and cannot stay up for longer than two hours. WHAT DO I DO!
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade agoCAR SEAT QUESTION! (short 10pts best answer)?
Hi,
My son is 7 months old and he is 22lbs. He is very tall but is not close to walking yet.
My infant carseat says that its weight limit is 5-22lbs...BUT everywhere I hear/read says that you can't switch to the next size up until your child is also walking unassisted. I don't want to do the wrong thing!
-Thanks in advance
11 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoPLEASE HELP WITH MY 7 MONTH OLD!?
I feel like somewhere in these last 7 months I have lost my way. This is my first child and I just feel like I am doing everything wrong.
1. My son refuses to sleep through the night...It used to be once a night but now we are back to 2 or 3...What do I do? Do I let him cry? Continue feeding him?
2. My son cannot function for longer than 2 hours at a time...He immediately rubs his eyes and gets fussy so because of this he has 3 naps per day...The naps only total 4 hours still but is that okay or is that what is keeping hiim from sleeping through?
3. He has stopped enjoying his bottles during the day. It is a struggle to get him to eat more than 4 oz at a time. He is okay on solids and I always give his bottles first but he never wants them.
4. My son has about 4 bottles from morning til dinner and all of them are about 3-5oz...But then my son has now started REFUSING his night time bottle before bed. His dinner is at 530 and bedtime is at 7 so it isn't that he is to full...
Anyway HELP PLEASE! I feel like I am doing something wrong and I would hate to be ruining my child!

2 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat time does your 6 month old go to bed?
My son has a bedtime routine and it begins at 7pm so he ends up sleeping anywhere from 730pm - 8pm depending on how long it takes to feed, or how long he plays in the bath!
Just curious as to other bedtimes?
Is it true that for every baby there is a perfect time for them to go to sleep? Maybe if I change it to later he will go to bed easier?
Thanks
6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMy blackberry is SO SLOW! HELP!?

1 AnswerPDAs & Handhelds1 decade agoCan anyone help me with this?! please?!?
Hi.
My son is a pretty good sleeper...Not quite sleeping through the night yet but he is doing it more and more often. He is 6 months old.
Now it is jsut starting to become warmer (springtime) and I'm wondering what to let my child sleep in.
In the winter because I hate having the heat on too much at nighttime I would put him in a bunting bag type thing around his full sleeper and he had a blanket overtop. ( He has to sleep with his blankie in his hands) But now as it warms up how do I change over without him being too hot or too cold? And should I use a humidifier? When? I don't have air conditioning so when should I start using the fan? Should I leave the door open to keep it even with the house?
Thanks
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhen do you start using sippy cups?
At what age did you give you child a sippy cup? My son is 6 months old and he still can't quite hold his bottle buy himself so I can't imagine him holding his own sippy cup and making that happen.
When was your child able to drink out of a cup you were holding?
I just don't want my son to be behind.
Thanks
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhen to start Stage 2 formula?

2 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoI just started my son on solids :) BUT...?
But I'm not sure how to really "plan" his eating schedule. He's 6 months old and so far he has tried (apples just today so we're still allergy testing) pears, bananas, sweet potato, rice cereal, and oat cereal) After apples I'm going to try peas.
So he just turned 6 month and my question is: How much solids should he eat per day.. When? I have a baby bullet so each serving is 2oz...Should I give him 1? or 2? Should he eat cereal each time? HELP!
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMy son won't stop crying at naptime all of a sudden?
My son is 6 months old. A while back I tried the Ferber method to get him to fall asleep on his own. It worked so great! He was doing this (at naptime and bedtime) and he would fall asleep on his own with no issue. Now all of a sudden naptime turns into a screaming match the second he lays down! Is it something I did? Do I need to re-ferberize? Or is this just a growth spurt or something?
HELP!
1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMy 6mo. old completely changed?
Last week my son slept through the night for 5 days in a row...Then all of a sudden he woke up screaming on the 6th night and wouldn't go back to sleep no matter what I did. Then on the 7th night he didn't fight me (just fed) but he woke up 3 times! Then last night it was 2 times but he slept in til 9. Is this normal? I feel like I am doing something wrong...He has two sometimes 3 long naps during the day and he eats lots... Am I overreacting? Has this happened to you?
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago5 month old eating changes - HELP!?
Hi,
So my 5 month old son has recently stopped wanting to drink out of his bottle. Whenever I offer him a bottle he drinks maybe AT MOST 2oz and then refuses to drink anymore. He has recently started solids (cereal so far only and today he tried banana) and he eats his cereal with no problem!
So I have a couple questions:
1. Is it possible that teething is causing him to stop wanting his bottle? Is there a way to make him go back to drinking 6oz like normal?
2. Is there someway that I can make sure he is getting his nutritional value? I have made sure that his cereal is always made with formula but is there anything else?
3. He makes all his wet diapers and everything so I know he is doing okay in that aspect but will he be okay if this continues?
I'm a first-time mom so I'm just looking for advice from people with experience.
BQ: My son was sleeping thorugh the night with no problems but ever since he started rejecting the bottle he wakes up for at least 1 feeding through the night. This bottle and his bottle before bed go down with no problem! HELP!
4 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoSon starting solids: could he be allergic?
Hi,
My doctor said I could start giving my son cereal in the morning now and so I made the rice cereal and started giving it to him with his normal bottle in the mid-morning. He had no problem with the swallowing off the spoon but he didn't like the taste of it which she said can be quite common...So I started him on Oat Cereal 3 days ago and - success! He loves it and today finished his whole bowl (I'm still only making half of what the side of the box says but still) I have noticed though that he has gotten the runs a couple times though after eating...
Does this mean he is allergic or is his body adjusting to the new food?
If he is allergic what should I feed him instead?
He has no other signs of allergy: (eg. vomiting, stomach pain, coughing, lip swelling, face swelling, rash, runny nose, or anything else)
and he isn't fussy so I don't know!
Thanks!
OH - and he just recently started teething (yay) but someone told me that can cause the runs too...
7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoHow do I make him eat full bottles?
So my son was doing great (he still is perfect but anyway) He would eat every 3 hours and would eat the right amount. Then all of a sudden he started eating every 1-2 hours and only eating 2 oz here...1 oz here... etc.
I want him to eat full bottles because I don't want him to get into the habit of always eating!
Help!
Thankyou!
Sorry - He is 4 months old and is doing really well I'm just wondering if this is normal or how to get him to remember... Should I just feed him when hungry and let him do his thing OR should I feed him once every 3 hours and if he doesn't take it he doesn't get more until 3 hours later...?
10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoA question about my sons napping? +BQ!?
Okay so my son is just over 4 months old and I can't figure out why he naps so much - I just want to make sure it is normal.
He wakes up around 730am and is up for about 2 hours...He usually drinks between 4-7 oz depending on when his feeding was during the night.
Then he sleeps from like 930am til like 1130! Should I be waking him up or just leaving him be? He slept through the night once (it was amazing) and I don't know which is better. Some people say if they sleep too much during the day it is bad...Some say if they sleep it is good!
Once he gets up he eats and plays and usually has one other hour long nap around 2. He sometimes cat naps if we go out somewhere in the car and sometimes gets drowsy a couple hours before bathtime (I try not to let him sleep that late though)
Sorry to blabber I already went on babycenter.com for the schedules but I want other peoples opinions.
-Thanks!
BQ: During the night my son tends to always pee through his diaper, pajamas, and sheets which makes his "quiet feeding/changing time" quite chaotic and usually causes him to wake up more than usual. I'm using pampers baby dry (supposed to be 12 hr dry) just wondering if there is osmething better or if maybe I should use the next size up at nighttime?
THANKS!
