When do you start using sippy cups?
At what age did you give you child a sippy cup? My son is 6 months old and he still can't quite hold his bottle buy himself so I can't imagine him holding his own sippy cup and making that happen.
When was your child able to drink out of a cup you were holding?
I just don't want my son to be behind.
Thanks

My 3 year old was drinking from a sippy at 8 months and she got use to it really quickly. My youngest is 11 months old and she started drinking from one pretty much around the same time. Just work with him and maybe just start with it a few times a day to get him use to it. Thats what i did with my girls, and eventually he will be ready to drink from it in no time.

We first tries a sippy cup around 9 months. We have quite the collection as we have tried probably every type out there. We wanted to make sure we found one she liked. She is now 13 months and uses the standard sippy cup type and the ones with straws. We tried the straws because she would get frustrated trying to take a drink while sitting and having to tilt her head back. She took to it on the 2nd try.

Hes not behind at all. Usually they start drinking sipper cups around 2 or 18 months. And about holding the bottle my daughter didn't start until she was 8 months.

Mt daughter is 6months and we just weaned her off her bottle. We started by having her help us hold her bottle, then put her slanted backwards. Now we have no issues she used her sippy on her own
