MY 7 MONTH OLD WON'T STAY AWAKE DURING THE DAY?
Hi,
My son just turned 7 months today and I am having trouble with his sleep and feeding schedules.
Lately, I have been trying to write everything down to keep track and I got the book "Healthy sleep habits, healthy child"..
He still has to have 3 naps a day though because I cannot keep him awake past 2 hours! He just starts getting super fussy! He isn't sleeping through the night and wakes up at least 2 times possibly 3. The last time he slept through the night was about the middle of april. I don't know what I did wrong in there but he wakes up and cannot stay up for longer than two hours. WHAT DO I DO!

First thing first, throw those books away. Every child is different and what book tells you isn't always true. Some kids sleep during the day and stay up at nights, many see it abnormal but hey that's how they are. If you want your child sleep at night then you need to get everyone to follow the same routine. meaning if your not the only one taking care of him then everyone should follow up with his daily routine. Make your child busy during the day and play with him. During the night, turn the lights off maybe leave the closet light or lamp on. Make sure there is no noise going around such as tv or people talking. Sometimes you may have go to your bed and lay him close to you and sing him baby songs till he falls sleep and then put him to bed. Keep doing the same routine till he is where you want him to be.
