You can add a video card to that old motherboard, but it's really time to be considering a new computer.
That ASUS motherboard requires an AGP socketed video card. All modern video cards use the PCI Express x16 slot, so you'll have to order off the Internet.
Second life has very modest cpu requirements - which is very good for you because that socket 754 motherboard can't handle much, but Second Life wants a pretty substantial video card.
Your best bet short of a new PC would be a AGP based Radeon HD 4670 video card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?... which might require a power supply upgrade, depending on what's currently installed in your system.

u can upgrade but it has to be AGP8X card
