Please help sims 3 lag issue?
Okay, i download 2 sims 3 games and they worked just fine. Well i wanted my sims to have a better looking style, so i decided to go to the sims 3 website and download about 4 sims from the exchange. Now when i play the game, it freezes up, runs slow, and lags. My ram shows 3072MB, is that bad? is that the prob? what do i need to do?

Your RAM is fine. Custom content can slow your game down especially custom Sims if they include custom clothes, hair, etc. Try disabling them in the game launcher and see if you game runs smoothly again.

Sounds like a bugged item. That happens sometimes with the exchange. ea or maxis usually gets them pretty quick but stuff slips through the cracks. The website might have a FAQ that can fix this but if you're willing to lose your saves you can reinsall and that should fix the problem immediately. In the previous Sims 2 there was a sims 2 mod manager tool that allows you to delete mod items invidividually but I'm not sure if they've got that for Sims 3. I'd recommend just reinstalling. Sure, you'll lose stuff but at least you'll be able to play. I'd be more careful downloading next time though.

perchance you have the different usb linked on your laaptop? it could make your gameplay sluggish. it made mine sluggish. attempt playiing back and make valuable no different courses are opened and that there is not any usb linked on your workstation. good success
