Car Amplifier Recommendations?

I have a loaded Kicker box totaling 600W, 300W/RMS. I am looking for a good reliable amplifier to power the box. most likely a mono-block. i can't seem to find any good sites with amplifier ratings. i have a cheap Lanzar 1000w amplifier powering it but it is very finicky. sometimes it works great, other times its terrible. seems to be temperature related(yes, i know very strange). it has issues when the amp is exposed to under 50 degree weather. the wiring is good for up to a 1200w amplifier. ground for the motor to the chassis is perfect and amp to the chassis is perfect. the wiring really i have spend a lot of time playing with thinking it was the problem but i feel it is the amplifier now. if anyone has any suggestions i would much appreciate it. thank you for your help!

-John

Update:

Yes, kicker DC10. i am just going by the specs on it which are 300 rms. and that amps rms is 150x 2ohm. that will overheat trying to bump these.

im guessing its a loaded kicker comp box. i would go with a kicker zx300.1 great amp, reliable and makes subs hit hard. also gives you about 360 out put not 300. and ya that RMS

Alpine MRP-F300 was powerful and crisp, not bone crushing, The Alpine MRP-F300 amplifier was a perfect fit for my Fit. It gave the power and clarity to the Sony head unit I was looking for. Combined with component and coaxial Polk speakers and with an Infinity Baselink powered sub, my system is a perfect Fit for all my listening needs. I always drive with a smile.
