God controls NOTHING, for the universe (and that includes the earth, of course) does what it does. I hope you realize that while you are praying for "great weather" next Monday, someone else might be praying for "lousy weather" that same day! I try to point out the silliness of praying, but most believers let their illogical beliefs control their lives. They never really THINK about their religion, because they have not been taught to be logical when that subject is discussed.

Theoretically it could be possible. but biblically there is an emphasis on humans free will which goes against that. Also no god in antiquity is totally in control basically because humans have a sense of having free will. A god that is totally in controll would render humanity the same as nihilism.

I'm sure God will take time out from the starving babies in Africa to answer your prayer.
