My laptop came with webroot antivirus. I usually use Avast. Should I keep webroot?

Or should I uninstall it and put Avast (free version)?

Update:

Dude--you are a tech, and you are saying that the windows crap is better than Avast? You will need to explain this one......

Stick with Avast. It has high reviews from Cnet.com. And don't use Microsoft Security Essentials! I made the sorry mistake of installing that on my daughter's computer and ended up with a really nasty virus. As far as I'm concerned, Security Essentials was asleep on the job! Get Avast and Malewarebytes instead.

If you feel more comfortable with avast, then go with it. Yes, uninstall webroot if you are going to install avast, 2 anti virus programs running together do not play nicely together

Webroot is decent if you have a subscription stick with it till it expires, Avast is OK also but usually the "free" virus scans are not comprehensive. as for the guy who said the MICROSOFT security essentials ignore that i have seen first hand viruses get thru, don't get me wrong it does catch and stop things but just the fact i have seen things get through lower my rating on their product
