Lisbet?Lisbeth?Lizbeth?
I don't like Elizabeth because it too common and my uncle's baby mother has a spoiled brat with that name from a previous relationship. I began liking Lisbeth because of the movie/book The girl with a dragon tattoo. SO....
1) Do you think me using Lisbeth would be weird if I used Lisbeth?
2) Do you prefer it spelled Lizbeth or Lisbeth?
3) Does Lizbet sound like you have a lisp when you say it? It's my favorite one truth. I thought Little Bit would be a cute nickname for this name.
The Everything Baby Names Book by June Rifkin says Zetta is hebrew for Olive and variations are Zeta and Zetana.
I just wanted to know what you thought of Zeta as a first name?
It makes think of actress Catherine Zeta-Jones but not why I like the name.

I think Lisbet or Lizbet is quite cute. I've heard it before, but it's not especially common I also don't think she'd get teased. I also haven't been that impressed with the Elisabeth's I've known, but I don't mind Elizabeth as a middle name. If you go with Lizbet then make sure you like the nicknames Liz or Lizzie, since she'll probably get called by one of those on a regular basis.
I'm not crazy about Zeta, but I do like Zetta and Zetana, they both sound feminine. Zeta kind of sounds like a part of the Greek alphabet.

People will call her Elizabeth or Beth anyway. but Lisbeth is the best. and yes Lizbet sounds like a lisp. Zeta is way cute. :)

I think if you name your daughter Lisbeth or Lizbeth she's going to constantly get called Elizabeth by accident. (although I like the name!) Zeta is a fantastic unique and fresh name! Love it very much!

My name is Lisbeth and I am not a fan. everyone calls me Elizabeth or Lizabeth. I have always gone by my middle name or by Beth.
