Would you stay with her?

If you met someone and you were lead to believe that she was 2 years older than you. And after several dates really began to really like her. But then she reveals she is not 2 years older, but 12 years older than you. Would you stay with that person feeling a bit deceived? Especially when you probably would not even went on a first date knowing her real age?

Update:

Having children is not an issue, neither of us can make a baby.

Update 2:

And, she does not look her age at all. Which was why I believed the first number

...........it would depend on what my goals were and whether or not we had chemistry. if i were looking for children then i'd probly pass her on in search for someone with whom i could meet that goal. but if i'd moved past wanting a family then her age wouldn't be a problem for me provided there was chemistry there and potential. now, the fact that she lied...i mean, you kinda expect some amount of deception on first dates, because you don't know each other well yet. and she's probly anxious for you not to discount her, as you said you probly would have done. lying is bad, but i can sympathize with why she did it, because women are unfairly discriminated against for age. so it just depends on where i was at in my life if i was a guy.

YES. Are you telling me you never lied to a woman to get what you wanted? Com'on admit it. If you cheat, and the side girl asks "do u have a girl?" Do u tell her the truth if you know she wont give you any play??! Well, hopefully she's not cheat on someone with you, but the point is, she lied because otherwise you wouldn't gotten to know her. She knew that. Lying isn't good, but behind every lie is an intention. Remember that. Her intention was to be with you. Trust me, she likes you...she told you, i'm sure it wasn't easy to tell you, and i'm sure she felt bad about it. Remember, behind every lie is an intention. Ever throw someone a surprise party? You gotta lie to that person about something in order to do it. But it's for a good intention...you're forgiven. Forgive her, and tell her how you feel about lies. (Unless they are for good intentions)

Source(s): Experience. Lied and been lied to.

She's probably insecure about her age. I think it's good that she told you, because obviously she likes you enough to know her real age, and not the age she'd like everyone else to know. I would stay with her.

It shows that she is willing lie to anyone in order to get what she wants. I don't go for anyone that dishonest or arrogant. I would be gone.

yes. lying is totally wrong. if she can lie about that, only god knows what else the future holds if you stay with her.
