What do you do to relax when you get angry?
I find myself getting angry quickly quite a bit and I've tried counting but sometimes it doesn't help. So what do you do to calm down?

When i was in group therapy they showed me this technique i guess yu could call it that . Basically what you do is make a fist with each of your hands and squeeze as hard as you can then slowly release and open your hands all the way really slow. It works trust me i do it all the time and it helps a lot

I remove myself from the situation when I am trying to be on my best behavior. If it's with a parent and they ask me to do something that they could easily do I suck it up and do it, I pick and choose my fights by asking myself; What do I get if I pick this fight? What do I get if I let it go. Most of the time I would get nothing by arguing just a bigger fight and if I let it go then I stop a fight and very potential migraine.

Imagine how the person who MADE me angry looks naked. That usually makes me laugh which, in turn, helps me relax.

I focus on something an the distance and my breathing. Then I try to think past the situation making me lose my temper.

Relax all the muscles in your body

Hit someone, hurt someone's feeling verbally, or spend the money of the person who pissed me off.
