How many pictures will a 8gb card hold for 18mp camera?
I have a 18mp camera, and 8gb memory card. How many pictures could it hold?

A rough estimation is based on 2gb can give roughly 400 pictures. This is rough though, because it is dependent on the mode and image size and quality.
But I'd guess maybe 1600 pics.
However, I use a reasonably cheap 8gb sd card on my Canon 60d, which is 18mp and I typically only get 991 pictures. This is using a LARGE quality, not a RAW setting.

For the answer...go get your camera Manual. It will have a chart in it that shows you how many images you will be able to shoot.
Also...learn to read the information displayed on your camera's LCD screen. When you have a card inserted, it shows you exactly how many images you will be able to shoot. For example...if it shows 100/400...that means you have taken 100 images of a possible 400.
