When was the first time liquid hydrogen and oxygen used in space mission ?

It was known that SS ME used liquid hydrogen and oxygen in space shuttle flight. Did rocket

Saturn V already use liquid hydrogen and oxygen ?

Update:

Nice. I had worked 10 years in the Space Shuttle program.

But this is the answer that I like to read. Wikipedia that had shown me that LO2 and LH2 had been used before shuttle projects.

The saturn second and third stages used LOX and LH2, yes

First stage did not, it used RP-1 (kerosene) and LOX

I'm sure there were rockets previous to that that used LOX and LH2

    wikipedia:

The RL10 was USA's first liquid hydrogen fueled rocket engine. An updated version is used in several current launch vehicles. Six RL10 engines were used in the S-IV second stage of the Saturn I rocket. One or two RL10 engines are used in the Centaur upper stages of Atlas and Titan rockets. One RL10 is used in the upper stage of Delta IV rockets. The RL10 was first tested on the ground in 1959 and first flown in 1963. (RL10 uses LOX and LH2)

I don't think the first space Satellite, "Sputnik" used petrol, gas or kerosene to propel it into space.
