cancel a job interview?
I saw a job posting online, submitted my resume to the recruiter, and he scheduled me an interview with the company. After doing research on the company and talking to friends and family about the company, I know that this is not a company I would be comfortable working for. Is it wrong to call and cancel the interview after it has already been made? Will the recruiter think negatively of me and not offer me any adidtional interview opportunities?

Cancel the interview if you don't want the job - that's the most professional way to handle it. Talk to the recruiter and explain why you would not want the job - this way they can find assignments more suitable for you. One time should not be a problem, but if you do this consistently they will move on to other, more accomodating candidates.
