I disagree with the above statement. (traditional storytelling MEDIA)

There was INTERACTION between traditional story teller and listener, because questions were asked, and answered. Sometimes the children would sit on the story teller's lap, perhaps play with his hat, play with her hair, or maybe even, the story teller was a neighbor. Interactivity can also be physical, even if via a computer, we can be moved to cry, feel shivers down our spine, etc.

Media= a form of disseminating factual information, or fantasy (a human telling stories in person qualifies)

That old methods of storytelling did not involve physical demonstrations, such as a story via multimedia, books, computers. etc
