Does starting microgynon affect your period?

My periods are lighter and shorter now I use microgynon.

But the first month on it, I bled properly for four days, and spotted brown discharge until the end of that strip. It cleared up and the next month was completely normal with no spottingx

Microgynon actually works really well. There will be no affects on your period. You take one tablet each day for three weeks, and then you have a week off which is when you period is expected. I was on this for about two years and it was great! Did the job! Had to come off it because it was giving me increasingly bad headaches which could lead to a stroke later in life apparently..

I took microgynon and it did effect my periods i bleed everyday for 42days it was awfull but dont be worried because everyones bodies are different im on the injection now wich stops my periods its great ;)
