I'm going to an Algebra I Competition...????!!!!!!?
Okay, I took Algebra last semester and passed with a 95. I took the advanced because regular Algebra is a full year. Anyway, my teacher offered me to go to a competition for the course, I agreed! He said it counted more against you if you answered a question and got it wrong rather than just skipping the question. So he handed me an example packet on the test they took last year, and I have not ever seen some of the material ever in my life. I am so nervous. I don't want to overwhelm myself by trying to absorb all the material tonight like I know some people will (the competition is tomorrow!!! =O) So what is some advice you guys can give me? How to improve my understandings in one night? How to calm down, etc. Thanks in advance!

You can't improve in one night. So, just look at what kind of problems in the competition, and go over formulas used in Algebra I. Go to bed as early as possible to have sound sleep. When you take the test, just tell yourself "I am getting experience" That's all.
