Does The Ohio State University have the best 1-2 punch in football and basketball in the nation?

Yes. They do. Top 10 year in, year out in both sports. (The only collegiate sports that matter)

The Ohio State University will without a doubt win on Nov. 18th. Everyone knows that Tressel and his magic vest own Carr. OSU has multiple playmakers on both the offense and defense. Troy Smith, Ginn, Gonzales, Pittman, Wells, Larinitus, and let's not forget #80. There is no way in hell that those f***kers from up north are going to beat us under these conditions... in Columbus.. at the shoe. But hey at least they won the World Series....oh wait..:)). I don't give a damn about the whole state Michigan..the whole state of Michigan...the whole state Michigan. GO BUCKS!!

University of Florida. Only school to wi n both a BCS Title and the NCAA men's basketball Tournament in the same year against the Ohio State University as well.

As much as i hate to say it Florida has them beat hands down. Florida has won a national title in both sports in the same year. Ohio State Basketball hasnt won crap.

A few years back Oklahoma Produced a Final 4 team and played for the national title in football. The following drafts had Blake Griffin in the top spot and Sam bradford also int he top spot. But OU basketball has fallen off since.

Sadly no, even though they are close. It does seem that both their basketball team and football team do well in the regular season (they both end up loosing to a rival school) and then choking in the bowl game/playoffs. They both have great programs though and they will get over their hump soon and win a championship in either one.

I gotta say Florida as well on this one, Last year their football wasn't that great, but besides that they're a perennial tournament/bcs power. Plus They have two BCS (2006 & 2008) and two Basketball championships (2006 & 2007) while Ohio State has only one BCS championship (2002) in the last 10 years.
