How to watch movies on my PS3?

Hi.

I own a PS3, and I want to watch downloaded movies. I already use the network to watch movies that are on my computer, but I was wondering if I could use the 250Go capacity of the PS3 to store movies and TV shows? Anyway, I don’t need the space for gaming, as I only use the PS3 for watching movies/surfing the net. So, if this is possible, how can I do it?

Plus, I was also wondering if I could use an external disc drive to watch my movies? I tried but it does not work. Does it has to have the FAT32 format?

Update:

I am not looking for info on how to torrent the movies.

I already tried to use a flashdrive and it didn't work. So, that's why I am asking if the format must be FAT32?

    Download either Frostwire or Limewire or some kind of torrent program and download all the movies and porn you want, then put them on a flash drive, then put the drive in the ps3
