My son has outgrown his infant carseat so we got him a convertible rear-facing but he screams he's put in it?

Any advice on why he does this?? He is ten months old and has never had any problems with his infant seat...

Do you have it installed at the recommended 45* for a newborn? If you do, you can have it as upright as 30*.

What type of convertible? We are on vacation dealing with the Scenera. This seat reclines a bit too much. Check fit, recline, and such. There might be more space for him, and that is a bit scary. Maybe put him in with a favorite soft toy or blankie. And remember to keep him RF to age 2 and 30 pounds.

Try taking it out of the car and putting it on the floor in the living room or something, he might not be familiar with it. Let him check it out on his own. My son is 11 month old and we just got him one, although he has always done good in his seat, we put it on the floor or a day or two before we actually put it in the car. He went over to it, tried to climb in it himself, so I put him in it, he LOVED it! I buckled him in and was playing with him he didn't seem to mind it, so later that day we installed it.

    He'll adjust to it soon.

leave him in it until he stops screaming. idk why so many parents are slaves to their children. it is not harming him, he just doesn't like it, so leave him there until he gets over it.
