Why wont my icons appear?

On my windows xp laptop my icons wont appear. I keep right clicking and clicking "show desktop" and no icons appear. I also have at&t parental controls that dont let me use ctrl+alt+del and im a limited user. Can anyone help?

    Hey there!

    Try this,

    Right click on the desktop and go to View.

    Then after that, checkmark the "Show Desktop Icons" selection!

    once you login press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and flow to job supervisor In job supervisor document > New job > explorer.exe (or on your case explorer1.exe) > ok Now you're able to have all of it lower back, now flow lower back and rename explorer1.exe to explorer.exe
