Well, electric cars are more efficient than gas cars, but they have a lot of downfalls. (which is why we don't all just drive electric cars and not gas) Electric cars generally get shorter ranges. You can travel maybe 30 miles with an electric car (not saying all, but giving an example) and several hundred on a tank of gas. Electric cars are generally much less powerful. Many are too slow to keep up on say, a highway. It might work if u only have to make very short trips. Also, electric cars have to recharge. This can take many hours, as opposed to a couple minutes to fill a tank of gas. The other thing is price. Sure some electric cars coming out today have/will have more batteries or better batteries, and be able to travel farther, but look at the price tag. Electric is more efficient, but has its downfalls. (which is why we don't only drive electric cars)

Just list the facts of electric cars. There are some sources for them. List how long the idea has been around for electric cars, who was the one that came up with the concept, who made the first working prototype, what the advantages and disadvantages are to both. Just don't say that gas power is the cause of global warming, its just a bunch of BS.

Also right away in your paper say which do you prefer gas or electric and why. List the facts of both but also its just not gas but also add in diesel vehicles.

first, NEVER EVER list the pros of the gas cars. Always list the cons (the negative things) about gas cars and always write positive, no negative things about the electric cars. List how electric cars can deduct the carbon dioxide released into the world from automobiles. List how inefficient gas cars are, and list that electric cars don't give off any smelly fumes and how cool they look. Just list stuff that makes sense and gives into the favor of the electric cars. Never list pros of electric or pros of gas. Here is a start. Cons of gas: so much pollution; so much money to pay at the pump. Pros of electricity: don't have to pay at pump; some stores will let you plug in a car for free; pay even less per trip with a solar panel; government grants; mobility. Im sorry I cant think of anything else.

electric cars are way better for the environment. You don't need to use gas! and they are usually quitter too
