Can the word hansei in Japanese be a person's name?

    I have never seen someone with Hansei name.

    As another says, it means "regret" or something. So it's not good to put it on someone as a name.

    Well it could, using weired kanji reading combinations.

    technically 漢生etc could be read as hansei but unlikely.

    the hansei you're thinking of would probably not be used as a name though

    Technically possible, but I've never heard of that.

    "hansei" could remind most of people "regret" or "half of life". Idon't think it's good idea to name it.

    yes and no, and i've never heard of such name in japanese people.
