Anyone feeling sorry for Dustin Moseley?

It's unfortunate, but I can't say that I feel sorry for Moseley. He's going through a stretch of non-support that all pitchers go through at some point. These things have a way of evening out. Moseley is going to have games where he goes 5 1/3, gives up 5 runs on 8 hits, but ends up with a win.

I saw Moseley pitch for the Yankees in the second half when Andy Pettitte went down with an injury. He started out strong, but teams eventually will figure him out. The guy is 28 and has spent a long time in the minors, and unfortunately, there's a reason for that.

The Pods have been shut out three times (by some pretty crappy teams) with Moseley on the hill, but it's just his first time through the NL. Once he faces teams a 2nd time he'll start getting hammered and this nice start will be just a distant memory.

Personally I didn't notice, but he plays with the Padres, who look loke being one of the weakest hitting clubs in the majors.

As for whether I feel sorry for him..no, he has a job for several more years, he's doing ok.

I don't feel sorry... The guy is probably making more this year than I will make in 5 years.
