Can anyone explain Article II, Section 1 of the US Constitution?

"The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves." When it says "two Persons" does that mean one for president and one for VP, or does that mean they must vote for two presidential candidates? Are both votes given equal weight? How does this work?

The electoral college is a relich of the pre-strategies age. think of counting 2 million votes whilst the only way around replaced into by horse. the college made the vote casting technique simplie and replaced into meant to motivate campainging amoungst many states. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, now days, we've the skill to handle an instantaneous vote and now days this is attainable to be the president and purely win approximately 10 states.
