Do I have to play red dead redemption to play the rdr: undead nightmare?
Like does it carry on or anything?

If you buy the separate Undead Nightmare disc that is for sale, you do NOT need to play or purchase the original RDR.
Undead Nightmare is more entertaining if you've played the original (characters come back, references to the original), but you probably won't be confused or anything. It's kind of a standalone game...

Undead Nightmare is an Expansion...you have to have Red Dead Redemption game itself before you can play undead nightmare, so you pretty much HAVE to buy 2 games in order to play with the zombies

no and yes you can buy the game on a disk or download the add on the add on reqiures the red dead redembtion (non zombie disk)game disk
