Opinions on dog ownership.?
In the news I saw two different outlooks on dog ownership.
One country is going to ban ownership of all dogs.
The other country has humans going into dangerous environments to rescue homeless dogs.
Why the huge difference?
I have my own firm opinion, but I am just curious as to what other people think.

What country is banning dogs completely? I would move I know that's for sure. I think it is how people are raised. If you are not raised to love animals and are told they aren't worth anything then I guess you wouldn't really care about them.China for instance slaughters dogs for meat, which I find horribly repulsive and sad. I was taught to love all animals and treat them all with kindness, except for snakes and mice, which my mother hates...lol, But I am never cruel to them. My father never had a house dog untill I was around 6, his whole veiw of dogs changed after that. Now he has Three Rat Terriers that are his babies, he would do anything for his dogs and that is how I was raised.

Because people are not just given information, we're often given information and being told or manipulated into feeling a certain way about that information. This causes us to form "beliefs." For example: Someone might get the information about all the homeless dogs in the country and shown pictures of all their sad little faces while someone sings a very sad little song with it, causing the watcher to form the belief that all dogs should be saved.
I'm not afraid of stating my own personal opinions even if people don't happen to like them, but my own opinion about dogs is pretty much the same as my opinions on everything else, and that is ... moderation is the key. You neither ban all ownership or try to save every single last one of them. There is a balance in there somewhere. If you fall to either extreme, you're just a crazy, poorly informed, radical to me lol.

this country is going to ban the ownership of all dogs soon...due to the fact that 90% of the people that own dogs now shouldnt even own a goldfish
The country that's banning ownership is Iran? I'm guessing. With them its a religious thing...i have no opinions on it, since I am not of that religion and do not live in Iran
as for humans rescuing every single dog out there....well, that would be right here in the US.
I'm gonna withhold my opinion on that b/c its just going to get me more pissed off...

Who's banning dog ownership? That's just wrong.
I think that to many of us dogs have been such a part of our lives that we value them above most other animals. When I see those dogs in Japan in the areas with high radiation I can't help but think that they were someones loved pet, a member of a loving family, until just a few weeks ago when their world fell apart and now they're out there trying to survive. I think that's what others feel when they see them to and that's why they go help.
At first the focus was on the humans, where it should be but as time goes on people start to see the other creatures suffering and want to help them as well - especially dogs. Cats too but cats aren't going to gather together in packs and draw the attention of people.

My answer from what you have written isn't any. the reason being which you have doubt. Now, after examining each and every of the replies you get, and with extra concept, you already know you're truthfully waiting for a domestic dog, then it only could be you're waiting. comments of possession: understanding the accountability, understanding you're able to coach effectively. Pre-making plans. A canine is very like having a baby. the version is you could depart it by myself with out being suggested to a baby protection organization. yet even in that, you ought to have a secure place and ideally one with no longer something you will no longer innovations being piddled on or chewed on. Plan on enrolling the domestic dog in domestic dog classes and later obedience classes.

The country banning dog ownership is Iran. Who knew, they nutjobs that still stone people to death and force women to cover themselves from head to toe are banning dogs.
Even a dog wouldn't want to live in that hell hole.

I would hate to live in a world without dogs. Dogs are one of the few creatures on earth that love unconditionally. Ever since the first wolf approached humans, dogs have served man in many capacities. I believe all dogs need to be treated with love, cared for, fed and vetted as you would a human child. Unfortunately for dogs, everyone doesn't feel this way. P/s to the person who gave me the thumbs down...would you please contact me ? I want to know your reasons you judged me.

I think it might be because some dogs can be very aggressive once they have been in a harmful place. It also might be because of the animal abuse that has been going on. Im not entirely sure, but that's my opinion.
