Saying "you're amazing" as an insult?

My boyfriend says "You're amazing" to me in a negative way (like when we're arguing). I'm extremely offended by this; as it's like a direct blow to my confidence, like saying I'm the opposite of amazing. I'm wondering what other girls think.

if he's saying your amazing during an argument the he means it in a negative way,

if my boyfriend said that to me I would say back and your not much better

tell him you feel offended, you don't want to have a relationship where when hot having an argument you cuss each other, not try and resolve it

    goodluck(:

You should be offended. What it means is that he is amazed at how stupid you are. While anger and resentment is normal, you might try seeing things from his point of view. Very few people do that and that's why there are so many problems in the world. If you could see where he is coming from, maybe you won't be so "amazing" any more.

Tell him to F*** himself and stop being a rude jerk.
