A question about being gay?

God is confusing...

Promiscuity is a sin. A lot of straight people who are sexually active outside of marriage like to point to the gay sex acts and point out god does not like that. God loves gay people just not certain sexual behavior which includes the majority of people. Do not feel unloved.

People are not born gay any more than they are born murderers, liars, adulterers or thieves. We are born with a sin nature. Sin manifests itself differently in different people.

When people tell you being gay is not a sin, they are giving their opinion, they are not telling you what God has said about it. Being a homosexual is as much a sin in God's eyes as being an adulterer or a liar or a thief. Jesus came to set people free from the bondage of sin. But it is a sin, and anyone who says it is not is leading you astray.

These days everyone wants to cover up sin and say everything is all right, do as you please. Even one of the answers you got to your question was someone saying they were a Christian and gays are fine!

It is terrible the lies that are being told. Life is very short compared to eternity. Doing what you please in this life will lead to eternal consequences.

I wish I could find this article. But homosexual or homosexuality is not translated from the early bible. The word was "mollusk" I believe, and its was translated into "homosexuality" by man. The best this word can be translated to is "pedophile" and I guess having bishops and preachers molesting little boys cant be looked at as a sin, so why not throw someone else under the bus. This can be found in the old testament, and to be quite honest, the new testament is full of cr@p. It has been challenged by many, and king james of england had some questionable entries when the book was translated into english. All fact, thumbs down me all you want. IM a transsexual woman. I love my god, and my god loves me. And he did in fact create me this way.. Jesus said it best, "love your god as you love yourself, love your neighbor as you love yourself, and for that, god will return his love for you". He did not speak of hate, he spoke of love. Everyone loves to preach Leviticus 18:22 Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

But why do they not chastise those of Leviticus 20:10 If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. Homosexuality is only detestable, where in adultery is punishable by DEATH.

Love this one too Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

So my bible thumping friends, whats gods word to the woman, "stand by your rapist"? Long live mans translation of the bible, we can freely rape women for the cost of 50 shekels of silver!!!!!!!!

It may say that, but god loves all his people. He wants you to be yourself and contribute to the world. If you do this, no matter who you are, he will love you. There is nothing wrong with being gay. It's not the wrong body like you said at all.

well I am not expert in trans people but many christians will say they are wrong, there are not trans people, they choice to be like that, even trans people feel they are different to gay people.

God isn't against gays. People use God to justify their personal dislike against gays.

dont listen to all the fundies, theres nothing wrong with being gay, at all. im a christian and firmly believe that.
