Is it possible to change the date of a wordpress blog post?
Does anybody use Wordpress for blogging and know how you can make a post but change the date that appears? Eg so it looks as though the post was made on a different date than the actual date? Is this possible? Thanks.

For self-hosted wordpress, look on the right side for 'publish immediately edit', click 'edit'.
Change the date then click 'ok'.
For wordpress.com, it's similar. Look on the right side of the post you want to change. You should see 'published on - date and time - edit', click 'edit' When you are finished, click 'ok'.

To change the date of your post just select the post you want to edit, click on edit and on the right sidebar you should see a block called "publish". Here you can press on edit next to the publish date and change the date!

Just go to the post page, look to the right hand sidebar, look for "published on" and then click the edit button.

Yes, you can. WordPress lets you change that date of any existing post at any time. You can also pre-date posts (i.e., write a post and have it published on a future date).
The Publish box (normally in upper right) let's do all of this.

Yes, you certainly can on a self hosted WordPress blog, I don't know if you can on a WordPress.com blog though. One of the many reasons why it's best to host your own WordPress blog.
