I was disqualified from driving for 7 months for DIC second offence within 5 years. Long story, don't judge. Part of the sentence is that I may be able eligable for alcohol interlock programme. It's only written on the sentencing sheet, the judge never said anything about it on the day. I read somewhere that if I complete the programme I can pay to have an alcohol interlock system fitted in a car so that I can drive before the actual disqualification is ended. But the only other info I can find doesn't say anything about that. I know of a person who comopleted the programme and was able to drive sooner but I can't track them down to ask about it. My probation worker doesn't know anything about it. Nobody seems to be able to give me any information, not even the lawyer. Does ANYBODY know anything about it?

Don't need lectures - already know I did wrong & paying for it big time. When you live in the countryside it's not a simple matter of calling a taxi to get home. Just wanted to have a bit of fun, never get to.

Have been disqualified from driving for 7 months for EBA second offence. First offence 2010. Had to sell my car or it would have been impounded. Lost my job because I couldn't drive there. Lost my bf & my home because we lived on a farm 21k from the nearest shops, therefore no job, no licence = no income so I had to move to town. No jobs in the small town so had to move to the big city just to be able to work & survive.

I lived with mum for a bit, 17k from the city. Too far too walk, had to get a flat in town when I started new job (walk to work). I am miserable living with strangers, away from home, heartbroken at havin to leave my partner & my pets behind. & often I have to walk at night & it creeps me out. Have had a couple of close calls already. Also the cheapest flat I could find is in a really bad area so even walking in the day is bad enough. Nobody really does anything in the daylight but they yell stuff & throw stuff & try to follow me. I can't move to a better area because I can't afford it & it's too far from work to be able to walk. I am lucky to have this job, usually nobody with 2 DIC convictions & no drivers licence manages to still land their dream job.

So my question - is there ANYTHING I can do to be able to live at mums and drive her car to and from work ONLY. Because it's 2nd offence I can't get a work licence but I need one, I will do anything. I didn't get community service (just report to supervision fortnightly, low risk of repeat offending, zero alcohol abuse problems) because I showed good character & was totally remorsefuI. Also because, & forgive me but it is the truth - I'm NZ European, from a good family & I didn't wear ugg boots to court. What can I do? I'm dying here....I won't last 7 months.

I usually put a top coat over top of acrylic nail anyway, could I paint the acrylic nail once finished with normal nail polish, then leave to dry, then cover with gel coat to make it last? Because coloured polish is so much cheaper to buy than coloured acrylic.

I've received this form from Amazon Digital Services for book royalties. "Foreign Person's US Source Income Subject to Withholding." Do I need to declare this to Inland Revenue (the NZ IRS). What will they do with it? Was I supposed to declare it before the financial tax year ended? Because it ended yesterday...will I get late filing fees?

When I was a teenager we were constantly lectured about how important it is do not have unprotected sex & how easy it is to get pregnant. There were at least five girls at my school who accidentally fell pregnant. Now I'm 20 & my partner & I had unpro sex three times last week but I got my period today. When I did an internet search I found heaps of forums with woman writing on them about how they are trying to get pregnant & how they have to time it perfectly with their cycles etc. So if it's not possible to get prego a week before your period (apparently only possible one week out of each month), why did we have it drummed into us at school. The message was "it only takes once." I kind of feel like we were lied to a bit & have been making my partner wear condoms for years every time for nothing. (I can't oral contraceptive pill, side effects are too bad). Which is the truth, is it hard to get pregnant or not?

Please only answer if you are a non-judgmental health professional or mother etc.

Last night & the night before, my partner & I had unprotected sex because we didn't have any condoms on us. He didn't pull out, both times. I don't know when my next period is due, I only know it's due sometime at the beginning of next month. It's the 30th today. I didn't keep track of it last month cos I was so busy. When can I take a home test? It's driving me crazy not knowing. :( Also, if I get my period in say a week's time, does that mean I'm not pregnant?

Forgive my ignorance...but I am looking at buying a unit for around $210,000. Trouble is, I have NO idea to go about it. I will have to do a lot of research into it & get myself clued up before any of this happens, but ideally I would like to live in it for a few years before upgrading. Whether I sell it or rent it out. How would I go about getting a bank loan for this. About how much, for what length of time? Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

My partner is a dietician in training and needs this for a report. Tried it previously but didn't get any proper replies. It cannot be from anybody who is anorexic or has an eating disorder. Nobody is judging here, it will be anon. Be honest, list everything you ate yesterday (as specific/detailed as possible) and be sure not to leave anything out! Also leave your age and gender and note if you have diabeties/gluten free or any other specific diet requirements, or if you are trying to lose/gain weight. Thanks this is much appreciated.

My hair has been in better condition since I started eating 2x eggs daily and taking supplements because my hairdresser said a diet rich in protein improves condition of hair. It appears she is right, but how is this possible because it is my understanding that the hair is dead...? How can my diet improve my hair if it is dead? Is it just a coincidence?

About six months ago I started drinking coffee, never used to. I also upped my intake of energy drinks because I got a payrise so could afford them. I also lost around 5kg, but unsure why because I wasn't eating or exercising any differently. After I told my auntie she asked me if I had been drinking more caffeine than usual because caffeine increases metabolism. Is this true?

A year or so ago I had severe pain in my upper arm/shoulder area. Both arms. I went to the doctor & had a scan that showed nothing was wrong. The pain was unbearable, I could barely use my arms. Some months later the pain went away by itself. It didn't matter as much back then because I wasn't working. Now it has just returned, just over a year later. It gets MUCH worse at night and I can't sleep on my sides...I can barely sleep at all so I am always tired at work. I don't want to pay $50 for a doctor who will say they don't know what's wrong. Does anybody know what may have caused this? I haven't injured myself at all. I'm a 20 year old female.

At my barista course, I we used an automatic coffee maker with preset buttons - one for a single shot, one for a double shot. Since then I have been trying to practise at home but I only have a manual machine. How long should I let the coffee flow for?

I've made a MS Powerpoint slideshow, and I want to play a song in the background (the full song). i can't put any music with the presentation because it's an mp3 file. I think it needs to be wav? Or something.

I have tried using video editing software to put the song in the backgroun afterward, but the video editor didn't recognise the powerpoint slideshow, so I couldn't use it.

It's so frustrating. Any suggestions?

Homework question for hospitality that I can't find anywhere...

I often think I am pregnant when I'm not because I'm so paranoid about it, so I'm hoping this is just the same thing, but thought I had better ask. I am feeling nautious throughout the day, it comes and goes. I nearly threw up but stopped myself. I never ever get nautious or throw up, not even when I have the flu etc. About two weeks ago my bf's condom broke. I just finished my period yesterday. It's too early to be feeling any symptoms, right? And also too early to take a test? Thanks for your help.

I want to get a tiny dog, can anyone tell me any breeds other than a chihuahua. I don't mind if it's cross breeds or anything like that. The smaller the better. Already have a cat and a big dog so don't tell me to go get a cat or a big dog or a rat etc...
