Should I change majors?
I am currently a double major in Vocal Performance and French with a minor in German. I am an aspiring opera singer. I love to sing, and I have the voice for opera. I am a mezzo-soprano. I am thinking about switching majors due to the job market, my struggles in my major classes, and the fact that I am getting bullied by fellow singers. I would either stay at my current school and major in International Business with minors in Voice, French, German, Chinese, and Leadership. Or, I would transfer and major in Chinese, Arabic, and International Business, International Relations, or English as a Second Language. My minors would be Voice, French, and German. I have a job possibility if I switch. I am a sophomore. What should I do?
I have talked to my voice teacher, the teacher of the class in which I was being bullied, and the Assistant To The Head of The School of Music who is a former voice teacher of mine. (She had to let her younger students go due to this promotion). I have tried their tips to overcome the bullying, but I still am being bullied anyway. The next step I need to take is to talk to the Head of the Voice Department.

Go back to the dream in your mind when you chose the present course. Is the dream being reshaped? Are you unravelling due to what you mentioned--the bullying, etc. which in case you would want to address that instead and get extra help where you struggle.
Is it time to consider the singing will be a hobbie you support with your job?
Picture yourself in the future looking back. How would it look if you switched and how would it look if you continued?
I think some of the other areas are quite different. Knowing a language and using it on the job varies in how it's used. For instance, the ESL you mention, do you really see yourself teaching? Because other than being an evaluator or owning an ESL school I don't know how you would use that.
Consider what is driving the question. Is it financial stress? Is it frustration? Is it that you feel a new direction is ahead? Sometimes it is the underlying issue that needs addressing before making big changes.

Of course, this is a question only you can answer yourself. If you love opera, and you think you have the ability, then you owe it to yourself to stick with it.
As for bullying, that is really unfortunate, but it happens. That doesn't excuse it, and there are things you can do that have already been suggested. In my long experience, bullies ultimately fail. It can be very hard for those who are bullied, though. Bullying should NEVER be tolerated by anyone at any level.

This is something you love why would you change because of bullies, this is nonsense. Step up to them tell the instructor at least in class you will have peace they would not like and instructor @ a college to address the issue they may not be able to attend anymore, It is your ball know you bounce it either tell the instructor who is mandated reporter or stop complaining.
