Why don't I have a 'B' Drive?

I realize I'm probably a bit slow to just notice this, but it has it suddenly occurred to me that with all my drives, partitions and removable devices associated with my computer I have everything from 'A' to 'T' but no 'B'. Is there a reason for this or are computers just superstitious about the letter 'B'?

A long time ago, the letters 'A' and 'B' were reserved for floppy drives. It has been quite some time since computers frequently had more than one floppy drive. So you can, if you wish, assign some other drive to letter B (using the Disk Manager). But on almost all PCs today, there is no drive assigned the letter 'B'.

Computers are superstitious about the letter B because it looks like a 13 squashed together.
