Are there any 1080p 60p professional camcorders?

I see all kinds of ads for these and when I look at the specs... nope! I see that some consumer camcorders can do this - I am interested in both but I'm trying to find a pro-level camcorder with this capability. I hear that the Sony Playstation 3 has 1080p 60p playback capability but there is so much bad information out there. Please provide a source (if you can) so I can verify the information. Thanks!!!

the short answer is no. professional HD is 1080i, 720p or 24p. Since 1080p is not ever used for HDTV broadcast there is not a demand for such a product among professional users. Consumer 60p is just sales hype. it only means the CCD is read progressively instead of 2 fields. since the consumer AVCHD or MPEG4 compression schemes have a GOF of 8, the whole concept of interlace or progressive recording is a moot point, 88% of the frames are missing anyway and interpolated on playback. this is true of blu-ray encoding as well. the only reason video games are progressive is because it is easier for a computer to draw cartoons that are complete frames instead of moving fields.
