windows operating system recovery?

When I boot up it says "no operating system found". I dont have a recovery disc. how do I create one from another PC?

    From another computer, click on the start button and search for "Create A System Repair Disc". Once you have the repair disc done, boot your computer with it, open 'Command Prompt' and type it BootRec.exe/FixBoot

    It Should Work :)
