Every Thursday evening, my PC time moves ahead one hour and one day. Instead of 6:00 Thursday, it jumps to 7:00 Friday. I reset it each week. Even if I would reset the GMT, why is it always weekly?

I have a bug in the windows hard drive. I cant remove it, because I need admin rights and it still wont let me through after I log in. I ran Norton, but it wont remove it - it tells me to re-install the original CD's which I never had with this PC.

Bootup takes longer and some of my keys and arrows quit working.

Sometimes (3 times a week) I have to have windows run a directory check because it didnt boot up.

Any ideas besides getting the OEM CD's? I already did an original boot, but it is still here.

My Dell laptop (with XP) was stolen. After it was recovered it had Windows Vista on it. I went to Dell for a factory installed download, but it didnt recognize my PC. I cant get my factory settings. The service tag still shows the same. I am doing it manually. I backed everything up and cant get past <ctrl> F11. I dont see a system restore. Any ideas?
