I need to boost a slow desktop?

i have a very slow desktop. i added memory 2 years ago and it was great. do i need a new hard drive or check and replace/upgrade my memory?

    You want to throw money at it to get it to run fast, I suggest you take a basic computer course to learn how to run and maintain it. It's most likely got a ton of worthless crap you have downloaded running in the background not to mention a ton of malware.
