Can you wear socks in public places?
I have been going shoeless for years and I love it! I wear socks in stores, restaurants, etc. There have been many similar questions on this site asking people if they wear socks outside. Some people respond by saying they would either get fined or arrested if they went out in socks. So my question is: Is it against the law to wear socks (without shoes) in a public place where you live? I live in Southern California. I've spent the entire day walking around places like Laguna or Newport Beach in just my socks. I never had any negative reactions from anyone. How about you? By the way, buy quality socks like wigwam volleys and they won't wear out, they just get kind of dirty, but that's part of the fun.

I live in SC, and many stores, restaurants and the like have posted signs: No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service. I have no idea whether socked feet would get me booted...I've never seen it tried.
I don't have an objection to 'just socks' for other people; but I'm too much of a klutz to leave my toes that vulnerable to stubbing!
When I feel the need for freedom from 'shoes', I wear flip-flops.

annoying to think of any pair of socks that ought to take up a pint of sweat ! I hardly positioned on footwear, enable alongside socks. right here the place I stay, it somewhat is only too heat for something yet sandals , and that i only positioned on them whilst i bypass out. different than that, its bare feet for all time.

lol sounds like da sort of thing i would do hah lol! anyways i am not so sure on whether it is legal, but i do think that people MIGHT not think of you as your equal, walking around without shoes. it may be best to google it, or find a website about your state and its laws and etc. though it might sometimes hurt to walk without shoes e.g. if you step on sharp glass or sumthin

It varies from place to place. Typically there's a disclaimer sign.
