What is the meaning of "Jesus" in pure English language?

"Jesus" means "The Great I Am saves."

People may say it means "The Lord Saves," or "Jehovah saves", but both "Lord" and "Jehovah" are interpretations and not actual plain english for the Hebrew "YHWH," which is a root of Jesus' Aramaic name, "Yeshua." The closest thing that the English language has for a translation of "YHWH" is, "The Great I Am."

Jesus is the transliteration in English of the Greek name Ιησους which is Iesous in the Latin alphabet.

Ιησους is the Greek version of the Aramaic name יֵשׁוּעַ which in Latin text is Yeshu'a itself a contraction of Yehoshu'a which is transliterated as Joshua in English. This Aramaic name has the meaning "Yahweh is Salvation".

Yeshu'a or Yehoshu'a was a common name at the time of Jesus' birth but there is no doubt that His name was given to him by His Father because He came to save His people from their sins.

There is no such thing as a "pure" English language since English is derived from so many other languages just like the people who are descended from many different ancestral families. The same can be said for all the languages and races on Earth.

The most "pure" language is Edenic identified by Professor Isaac Elchanan Mozeson as the root of all languages on Earth which began with the father and mother of the human race Adam (Man) and Eve (Mother of the living) in the Garden of Eden. It bears a strong similarity to ancient Hebrew.

Jesus is from the Greek version of Yeshua (or similar spelling). This is the name of the mythical military leader of the mythical invasion of Palestine by the mythical Hebrew tribes: Joshua in the christian versions of the Jewish Torah. I has no meaning in "pure English" since pure English has never existed.
