Does anyone know of any credible literary agents in the Chicago area?
I've been out of work for more than a year and have exhausted myself applying for job after job and getting nowhere in this crummy economy. I'm always coming up with great ideas for movies and have even written three scripts and a few treatments for some other films. I'm mainly looking for an agency who will deal in screenplays and perhaps get my foot in the door. Thanks to anyone who can provide me with any information.

Not personally, but you can find contact details for agents by looking in the Hollywood Representation Directory http://www.hcdonline.com/ or the Annual Agency Guide http://www.writersstore.com/annual-agency-guide or by signing up to http://www.donedealpro.com/default.aspx online ($23.95 a year - see the link top left for agents and IIRC you can search by region).
