My heart beat while jogging in the gym today was 180bpm. is that normal?

First time checking my heart beat and only started back in gym two weeks ago. I'm 30years old and not over weight at all.

    That is good, you are giving your heart a good workout. The 'Heart training zone' is right around that mark for a 30 year old so well done. 180bpm is a good target for exercising if that is coming from one of the cardio machines.
