Why do Conservatives love pollution and hate the EPA?
Texas wants to do its own. LOL. We know what that is all about. Look a Dallas and Houston armpit and groin of Texas.

If cleaning up the environment were free, they'd be all for it. Because it involves tax dollars and takes away from the military, they are against it.

I have one reason to dislike the EPA:
After the state of Massachusetts filed suit to force the EPA to enforce the Clean Air Act in terms of greenhouse gases, the agency began plans to target cattle ranches and feed lots. This was due to the amount of methane gas expelled from cow manure. The EPA, however, neglected to do the same for horse ranches. Is horseshit better for the environment than cowshit?
One reason could be that a person who owns a 'wild' horse ranch in my area is a contributor to liberal causes and the ranch is convenient tax shelter for donations. With those donations, the horse ranch can outbid local cattle ranchers on the price of hay. Now if the EPA does push for levies and fines on cattle ranchers, they would be less able to compete with the hobby horse ranch.
While some people would come out in support of the horses, they neglect a crucial fact. Those horses, which are supposedly wild, are kept on less acreage per head than a cattle ranch. Though the horse owner is not purposefully negligent, those horses are far from the wild mustangs that they are reported to be. As with most liberal causes, it serves no purpose and actually does more harm than good. But asinine college students will follow the dumbest of liberal causes.

Saying conservatives "love pollution and hate the EPA" is like saying liberals "love giving all their money to the government and wish we hadn't opposed Nazi Germany and that we were all speaking German today." Rather over the top, just a tad flamboyant, and perhaps a slight overstatement don't you think? Okay, more than slight.
I live in Texas and frankly don't know what you are talking about. But of course, all sorts of fringe groups from all sorts of ideologies are always suggesting ridiculous stuff. I think the issue is about the amount of regulation and the interference of government in free-market economy activities, such as drilling for oil and natural gas, etc.
The tone of your questions suggests I am not going to convince you and I know you are not going to convince me. Moving forward, assuming you really want to find workable solutions for all, perhaps you shouldn't start by immediately insulting those with whom you might not agree. Just a suggestion. Without that approach, you immediately lose credibility and nobody takes you seriously.
Other than saying that, I won't speak to this

They don't hate pollution, they hate not being able to do whatever the hell they want. Dumping your toxic waste in the river is much better for your business than paying $50/lb for disposal.
However, just because taking a dump on the floor is cheaper than flushing it down the toilet doesn't mean its a good idea.

Greed. It's easier to make a profit when you can have local residents growing a third eye, or developing one of the many cancers.
Money at the expense of fellow humans -- a very inhuman thing.

Why does the EPA hate the US economy and do everything in its power to regulate the US economy into a third world status?

1) We don't like pollution but we hate phoney pollution scams.
2) The EPA is run by progressive communists. They wouldn't know whats good for them even if they said it.

I hate pollution. I want it controlled through elected representatives and not unelected bureaucrats.

Please stop asking questions that just show your hatred and bigotry towards Republicans and Conservatives. It's asinine. You're questions are shallow and you don't want real answers. You just want to make Republicans seem bad. Then you choose for a best answer one that agrees with you, instead of one with logical sense. You are an average college IDIOT.

Because the EPA loves taxes and regulations and hates business that creates jobs.
The EPA along with most democrat environmentalism has overreached it's limits and is destroying capitalism and job creating business in the name of "saving the environment".
The earth is not being destroyed, there is no man-made global warming. The USA is the most environmental country in the world. We have more green energy, more green factories, more green regulations and taxes then anyone in the solar system.
The new home for the communist party is in the environmental left.
