Selling sterling silver silverware set?

I have 2 Westmorland 60 piece silverware sets that have been handed down to me. Since I am out of work, my parents said that I should sell them now with the silver prices being so high. I am wondering whether I should sell them to be melted down or to a collector?

Don't sell for scrap. Worth so much more to a collector, and especially since you have two sets. And while you could sell it on ebay, or even craigslist, I'd suggest that you contact an online site that specializes in silver. There seem to be several. But I put one site below.

Oh how sad you have to sell them. Sell them on a site as suggested below or put an advert in a newspaper. To get and idea of how much to ask for look up similar item on those sites listed below or make a few phone calls to private collectors. Good luck.
