Stephen Harper doesn't appear to give a damn about minority groups, or women's rights. He has an unbelievably poor track record, breaking countless promises and even blatantly disregarding the rules of his position, and Parliament himself.

That being said, I would expect most Muslims and recent immigrants to go to the NDP, without question. Their platform strongly supports the rights of non-native Canadian citizens, and seeks to give back to hard-working Canadians, instead of allowing corporate entities to weasel their way into more taxless millions.

If you're not huge on the NDP's position on other matters, I would suggest the Liberal Party, but they're only a very, very small hair above the Conservatives on the matter of Muslim & immigrant rights.

Vote for the conservative party. They won't increase taxes and with them in power Canada will remain economically strong.
