How long will the Panthers officially take to pick the #1 draft selection?

Remember a few years back the Texans made their pick a couple days before the draft!I feel that might be what the Panthers do.

they want to make sure they know what they're doing. if they pick cam newton over gabbert and realize jake locker was better then both of them, then the panthers will be disappointed. they will never make up there mind being the #1 pick until they submit there pick on the 28th. lets just hope they pick a good QB for that 2-14 team

Lol jamarcus Russell.. but the panthers probably have 1-3 draftees in mind but... it all comes down to if you wanna make it final.. so if their confident it will be quick but if they need to think it over maybe 3-5.

A couple minutes usually. The time run off is usually trades coming in for the pick.

This year's a little tougher cause there's no clear number 1. I'll say 4 minutes 42 seconds.

Not long unless they get trade offers, and I doubt that with it being illegal to trade current players with no free agency.

they will take a few minutes to see if they can make a trade. if not theyll just go ahead and take Newton
