Hair extensions for a 13 year old?
So im 13, with fine, thin and straight hair. My hair has no body to it, both at the top and bottom. So I would like to try out human hair hair extensions. I would NOT be wearing them at school, only special occasion kinda thing. The only time I would wear them in school is when my hair is up in a bun to make my hair look thicker (I have always wanted to have thick hair).
Because it's human hair and all if it didn't match my hair almost perfectly, I would dye them. (Yes you can dye human hair extensions) Do you think wearing hair extensions at 13 is okay? 'Cos other girls the same age as me wear them and it looks trashy and fake 'cos the extensions would dry up. Thanks again!
Actually, I think I would be too scared to wear them to school even if they're up. And it's not about "getting boys" ive never had a boyfriend nor kissed anyone and i Intend to keep it that way.
Also, it's just purely for fun. And I would wash them keeping them in good condition

i think it would be ok if you wore them on special occasions becuz i also want extensions but my dad thinks im too young but my mom thinks itz ok to where them and so does my grandma

I think it's okay as long as you know what you are doing. Most people just get hair extensions at 13 and don't look after them which makes them go dry. So sure, good luck. :)

I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinions - but I do have girls of my own (aged 8 and 10) and honestly I don't think it is really necessary to have extensions unless it is just for fun (to express yourself) or you have a condition (like alopecia). If they were to ask me about wearing extensions at that age, I think I would only allow them to wear them occassionally at certain functions but not everyday. Hope that helps! :)

If they're for special ocassions I think that's ok. For an everyday or casual wear I think it's too much. A 13-year-old shouldn't be too concerned with these things. You're too young to start the high-maintanance thing. For special ocassions, sure! who doesn't want to look their best on special ocassions?

I think you should wear them, they won't look trashy if you fix your hair and not let it look trashy.
