i doubt if theres anything illegal about it.

and if theyve gotten cold 4 too long a period, its too late for them to hatch.

u cud try hatching them (the parakeets wont--tho u cud put them n there, but they may peck them open out of curiosity) by sitting them next to an 'eye' on ur stove. they shud not get too warm...

if after a week r 2 (r they start to stink--sorry) throw them in the trash can.

Im pretty sure its not illegal. But your parakeets probably wont nest them. And if you dont know this already, the parents arent coming back and if they do they wont take the eggs if they have human smell on them. I never hatched an egg but i saved a bird thay either fell or got kicked out of its nest. I used an incubation lamp (the red heat lamps, you can get them at like home depot i bet) and i made a pretend nest for ir and i fed it mushed up food mixed with water from an eye dropper. Dont make an omelet. And if you havent been keeping them warm, they are probably already dead. But try your best and good luck!!!!

discard the evidence and flee the scene! Burn the house, with all your clothes and any Identification inside. Don't use gas it can be traced back to arson. Purchase a fake ID and drive to the closest river to dump your car. Now start a new life and stay the hell away from those Eastern BluseBirds! And don't do drugs! And stay in school! And stay away from the only two black guys that live in your neighborhood they're probably part of a gang or rap group!

Illegal? Yes. However, the damage has already been done, so you might want to give incubation a try, if the eggs have not been allowed to cool off for too long.
