Are guys muscular guys more attractive?

I will admit, as a 43 yr. old female, nothing makes my day more as a college student than walking through the gym seeing a bunch of ripped 20 year olds working out, or having one come up and give me a hug. LOL. However, I don't really find muscular guys necessarily more attractive for a boyfriend. My 2nd husband was extremely muscular and I dated a man who claimed to be the "MR" whatever of his state in weight lifting. They were both actually LESS attractive to me as men, because they were so stuck on their appearance and very arrogant. They were also far more critical of my body than the 20 yr old ripped males at my school are, interestingly enough. The 20 year old males seem far less concerned with their muscles when it comes to appearance, and more into it because of the athletics they are in.

I guess the best answer I can give you is it depends on what you want to be. Sure, ripped bodies are great eye candy for a woman of any age. I can't really answer your question as to if I would like a guy better, because the younger guys who are very, very ripped at school & are good friends are actually far nicer than the men my age were that were into fitness. LOL However, personality really is most important and I would put the way a man carries/presents himself to others (how he dresses) a close second.

I'm pretty muscular although not ripped by any means and guys/girls (depending on which team they play for if you catch my drift) love feeling muscles. At the same time I've talked to people that don't like a lot of muscle. Personally, style and fashion will definitely win somebody over more than muscles will. So although it depends on the girl, because I've talked to girls that have each had different opinions on this, muscles in the end aren't that important.

Nooooo way. For a start I'm not really attracted to muscular guys and also it is nowhere near as important to how a guy dresses.

Duhh of course!! Not too muscular though just enough. He's just more attractive, sexually. If he is a nice guy too than so much the better!!

That's really a personal opinion, some people are attracted to chubby guys, some to slim guys, some to muscular.

Personally though, they are to me :3

And yeah, a good sense of fashion always helps, but again it's a personal opinion on which one matters more

I don't mind the muscles, but those guys' faces are a bit too "pretty" for me, I like a rougher and more rugged face. Neck down, HOT!, IMO. Not into skinny guys, hipbones hurt.

I'm not a girl, but I don't find muscly men that attractive.

I tend to think slender guys have really cute faces (I also love a skinny tummy); skinny guys just seem very cuddly =D

BLEH! As Mercedes Jones from Glee would say, HELL to the no! I think chubby guys are much more attractive. Yummy!
